Key Responsibilities

Instructors plan and lead professional aquatic classes and use verbal, visual and kinesthetic cueing so participants with different learning styles can follow the exercises.

They provide exercise options and modifications for comfort and intensity and educate participants about safe movement. Instructors watch technique closely, especially when equipment is being used.

The role works with lifeguards, deck supervisors and other facility staff to identify safety issues and help participants who require specialized accommodation or a support person.

Instructors also prepare and return class equipment, complete timesheets and participation statistics, mentor new instructors and collaborate with the facility team during emergencies.

Who Can Apply?

Applicants need experience leading group post-rehabilitation and therapeutic aquatic exercise classes.
