Key Responsibilities

The Coordinator reviews and audits graduation-evaluation activity completed by faculties before recommendations are forwarded to Senate.

The position also audits academic progress reports and course duplications and works with faculties and departments to ensure students comply with SFU’s course-duplication policy.

Another responsibility is coordinating the President’s Honour Roll and Dean’s Honour Roll so that high academic achievement is recorded and recognized appropriately.

The role can evaluate and design new systems and business processes when improvements are needed, giving candidates with process-design or student-information-system experience an additional way to demonstrate fit.

Education and Experience

SFU asks for a bachelor’s degree in Education, Business, Arts, Social Sciences or a related discipline and three years of related experience in learning and development design and program implementation, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
