The job is permanent full time with a hybrid arrangement and a fixed 37.5-hour Monday-to-Friday schedule.
The manager helps develop and optimize Air Transat’s flight schedule in the short and medium term and makes sure the schedule is operationally feasible when aircraft, crews, maintenance, airport constraints and commercial needs are considered together.
Opportunity Overview
Airline schedules are affected by network strategy, airport slots, aircraft availability, crew requirements, maintenance and irregular operations. This role sits at the centre of those dependencies.
The manager works on both seasonal planning and shorter-term adjustments and also supports codeshare and interline schedule management.
Available Position
- Position: Manager, Scheduling and Slot Management
- Employer: Air Transat / Transat A.T.
- Employment: Permanent Full Time
- Work Arrangement: Hybrid
- Schedule: 37.5 hours/week, Monday-Friday
Key Responsibilities
The manager participates in design of summer and winter flight schedules with Network Development and maintains schedules in an airline scheduling tool such as NetLine.
The role coordinates schedule adjustments and communicates them to internal and external stakeholders. Codeshare and interline schedule changes are also managed.

Short-term operational feasibility also matters. Rotations, block times, connections and overall performance can need adjustment when disruptions such as delays, aircraft-on-ground events or maintenance issues occur.
