Export Development Canada is hiring Associate Relationship Managers for its Mid-Market Business Strategy & Execution team. The employer currently lists two opportunities: one permanent position and one 12-month contract.

Key Responsibilities
The role researches, qualifies, engages and follows up on leads from multiple sources. Lead generation can come from EDC marketing, associations, partner lists, networking and collaboration with regional Relationship Managers.
Candidates research companies to understand operations, business objectives, market-entry strategies and international-trade opportunities. Leads may need to be nurtured before they become qualified opportunities.
The Associate Relationship Manager logs relevant information in the CRM, provides accurate internal and external communication and works toward qualified lead-generation targets.
Who Can Apply?
EDC requires an undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Finance, Commerce or a relevant discipline and at least two years of recent business-development experience.
Applicants should understand sales or client account-management best practices and have strong verbal and written communication skills. Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook proficiency and a valid driver’s licence are also listed.
Experience in banking, international business or financial services, knowledge of international trade, CITP designation and French-language ability are assets.
Hybrid Work and Eligibility
EDC currently requires employees to work from the office two days per week, increasing to three days per week from September 2026 through a phased implementation.
